Accurx Scribe transcribes audio from a patient contact or free-dictation and uses AI to summarise them into structured form for medical notes, including any relevant coding. Clinicians can instantly modify notes and generate other documents, save these notes to the patient record and share documents with patients and other services.
How do I get started?
We're launching to all Accurx users on desktop and web from 1st June 2025, with Accurx Mobile rolling out across the rest of the month. Join the waitlist to keep up with the details as we get ready for a free national trial phase. Once launched, you’ll be able to opt in by clicking the new microphone icon in the Accurx Toolbar or logging in to Accurx Web.
How much does it cost?
If you are a GP practice that signs up before 30th June 2025, you will be able to get access to Scribe for free for 3 months. The trial will start from the date that you activate Accurx Scribe. Pricing for after the trial phase will scale based on patient list size. Contact our Partnerships team to obtain a quote for your practice, or if you work in any other part of the NHS and are interested in signing up to Accurx Scribe.
Does it ensure that patient information remain private and secure?
We have a robust framework that underpins the privacy and security of all our product capabilities, including Scribe, ensuring that we meet all the requirements of data protection laws (such as the UK GDPR), adhere to information security and governance best practices, and align with NHS IG and Clinical Safety Standards. Our Scribe solution doesn’t store audio or use patient data to train AI. And the clinicians always remain in the loop and fully in control. Want to know more? Please visit our dedicated Privacy and Security FAQs.
Does it work?
Yes! Accurx Scribe is powered by Tandem, a clinician-led team and a leader in this space. The underlying technology has been used by thousands of users already and is highly accurate for medical terms. Despite its accuracy, healthcare professionals should always review their notes and letters before saving them to record. The proof is in the using, so we encourage you to join the waiting list and give it a go for free.
